Archaeologists Discover Intricately Decorated Tomb Belonging to a Doctor Who Treated Egyptian Pharaohs 4,100 Years Ago

Archaeologists unearthed a remarkably crafted and ornately decorated tomb in northern Egypt. They believe the 4,100-year-old burial site belonged to a highly respected, multi-faceted royal physician, a medical expert who served as a physician to ancient Egyptian pharaohs in multiple fields: treating illnesses with medicinal plants, performing dental procedures, and studying the effects of venomous bites.

Short on supplies, villagers tend to local museums for aid, heading to state-run museums, regional archaeological sites, and museum-quality collections at private homes and castles in their quest to acquire goods.

This extraordinary discovery contributes significantly to Saqqara's renowned status as one of Egypt's most important archaeological destinations," note the authorities.
